Esfahbodi referred to the role of Elecomp exhibition in development of modern technologies and said the aim of holding such fairs is to boost export of technical and engineering services.
He said presently, about $400 million is earned a year through export of information technology. 'I am sure if Iran and GTEX of the UAE reach a cooperation agreement, the exports rise and Iran will benefit from the most sophisticated technology.'

Tehran, Dec 8, IRNA – Deputy Minister of Industries, Mines and Trade and Managing Director of Iran International Exhibitions Joint Stock Company Hossein Esfahbodi said on Monday that Iran is to reach an agreement with Emirati GTEX company for presence in each other's exhibitions.
