Present at the official reception ceremony of Larijani, there were the Vice President for Parliamentary Affairs Hojjatoleslam Majid Ansari and a number of parliament members.
During his regional tour of Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq the Iranian parliament speaker exchanged viewpoints with those countries’ high ranking officials on major regional and international affairs, especially on the need for comprehensive, collective campaign against terrorism.
On the last day of his visit of Iraq, the last leg of his regional tour, Larijani met and conferred with Jalal Talabani in Sulaymaniyah and with Masoud Barzani in Irbil, both in Iraqi Kurdistan Autonomous Region.
