In the conference the two sides discussed various issues such as fight against terrorism, upgrading current level of security cooperation on joint borders, fight against organized crimes, kidnapping and human trafficking, expansion of border cooperation, border markets and extradition of prisoners.
Deputy Interior Minister for Security Affairs Hossein Zolfaqari and his Pakistani counterpart were present in the conference.
In the end, the two deputies signed minutes of the meeting.

Tehran, April 18, IRNA – After three days of intensive talks between Iran and Pakistan from April 16-17 and at the end of the eighth Iran-Pakistan security conference in Islamabad, the two sides inked an agreement on security cooperation, it was announced on Saturday.
