Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the funeral ceremony of the late senior Iranian Diplomat Ahmad Fahima, who died in Mina disaster, Sarmadi said there are speculations that Roknabadi had survived the Mina incident on September 24.
He said certain individuals, present at the time of the disaster, say that Roknabadi had been alive up to the last moment he was transferred to hospital. 'Of course, these are some statements by certain individuals.'
Sarmadi said necessary studies and investigations are underway and the DNA test will be very decisive in deciding the fate of missing pilgrims.
