The minister, who is also head of Iran-Azerbaijan joint economic commission, said this would be the third visit of the Azeri head of state to Iran.
He made the remarks on the sidelines of a meeting with Azerbaijan’s Minister of Industries and Economy Shahin Mustafayev here on Sunday.
He said the Azeri president will be accompanied by a political and economic delegation.
According to the minister, during the visit of the Azeri delegation, 11 documents on cooperation will be signed by the two countries in a number of areas.
