The Syrian Ministry expresses condolences to the Pakistani government, people and families of the victims of that attack which claimed lives of many innocent people.
The Ministry added in a statement on Monday that the acts of barbarism committed by the Takfiri obscurantist terrorist powers stress again the need for concerting international sincere efforts for combating terrorism effectively and putting an end to its crimes and dangers that threaten the world peace and stability.
At least 70 people, mostly children and women, were killed in a suicide attack on Sunday evening in the city of Lahore, center of Punjab province in Pakistan.
Hospital sources say over 300 more have been injured. The number of casualties is expected to rise as many of those injured are in critical condition.
The suicide attack took place at a children's park, where a large number of families, especially women and children, were present.
