Spokesman: Iran, S. Korea to sign 44 MoUs

Tehran, May 2, IRNA - Referring to South Korean President's presence in Tehran, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hossein Jaberi Ansari said that 44 MoUs will be signed between the two countries.

President Park Geun-hye accompanied by four ministers and 230 merchants and businessmen arrived in Tehran on May 1.

Jaberi Ansari added that 20 MoUs are to be signed in the presence of the two presidents and others will be signed by businesspersons.

South Korean President will also have a visit with Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

Elsewhere in his briefing, Jaberi Ansari said that Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow and Foreign Minister Raşit Meredow will have a trip to Iran on May 7 to enhance cooperation and ties between the two countries.
